Primary school drawing competition

The nationwide primary school drawing competition in the spirit of Finno-Ugric culture gives children the chance to explore Finno-Ugric traditions, symbols and cultural heritage through creative works. Pupils may depict in their drawings the world, stories and values of Hungarians, Finns, Estonians and other Finno-Ugric peoples. The initiative aims to draw younger generations’ attention to cultural diversity and the importance of shared Finno-Ugric connections. An exhibition of the submitted works will open as part of the Juhannus programme series.
