The Dumpling Festival, in the spirit of Finno-Ugric culture, is one of Geresdlak’s most significant community and gastronomic events, linking local Swabian traditions with the cultural values of the Finno-Ugric peoples. At its centre stands the traditional steamed dumpling, accompanied by Finno-Ugric foods, music, traditions and cultural presentations. The festival is an excellent opportunity for communities to discover each other’s heritage and celebrate Finno-Ugric cultural diversity together.
